He completed his ‘Masters in Surgery (MS)’ from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and subsequently his Super-Specialty Training ‘Doctorate of National Board (DrNB)’ in the field of Gastrointestinal, Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary, Minimally Invasive and Transplant surgery at PVS Memorial Hospital, Kochi, Kerala. He was one of the Youngest Surgeons in the country to successfully accomplish the super-specialty training. He is also a Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in General Surgery and has acquired Membership in the esteemed National Academy of Medical sciences (MNAMS). He has also been awarded with Fellowships in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) and Gastro-Intestinal Endoscopic Surgery (FIAGES).

He has an extensive research background and has authored multiple research articles in various national and international journals and has made presentations at Various National and International Conferences where he has won many Awards.
